Pravda #1 was based
on a comic strip that my friends and I would take turns
drawing when I was in high school. After high school, I started to consider comics as
a serious art form, and decided to tell a story based on some of the characters that
I had created.
The first, and only existing, issue of Pravda took me three full years to create - an estimated thousand hours of drawing time went into the making of it. The result was a comic book that no one at all was interested in reading. Perhaps it was the overwhelming amount of detail, or the incongruous plot line, or even the coarse storytelling... nevertheless, I'm working on a second issue, and I plan to continue creating issues until the full story is completed.
